Lancaster County Public Schools is excited to announce our first Internship with The Town of Kilmarnock. Lancaster High School student Bailey Lease will be working in the Town Offices this summer. Through this experience, she will gain valuable insight into how the town government operates and also assist with various projects.
Internships are partnerships with the school, business, student, and parents to help students gain real-life work experiences that can relate with their courses they are taking in high school.
We thank the Town of Kilmarnock for hosting our student and a special thank you to Susan Cockrell, Town Manager and Cindy Balderson,Town Clerk for committing the time and effort to grow our future community leaders. We are looking forward to our partnership and a successful and productive summer. Internships are one way Lancaster County Public Schools is working through Career & Technical Education and Workforce Readiness to link passion with purpose!
