Hello LCPS Families!
I just want to take a moment to update you on our progress. By the end of next week, we will be posting the ‘Lancaster County Public Schools Continuity of Learning Plan’ onto our website. As shared last week, we will continue with practice and enrichment of previously taught materials for the remainder of the year.
Our teachers are currently creating and preparing an additional learning packet along with opportunities through virtual classrooms for students in K through 12 to utilize throughout the spring and summer. In the near future, we will make available, upon request, hot spots and/or devices to those in need so that all students may have access to participate in virtual learning activities. The plan will include information regarding Driver’s Ed, Pre-K registration, virtual classes, medicine & instrument pick up and more. Please be sure to check the LCPS website for these updates.
We would like to thank our families and community for their patience and willingness to work together as we develop plans that will positively impact our students. Undoubtedly, our plan will need modifications as we progress. As we move forward and navigate these uncharted waters, we will have more opportunities for all of us to work together for our children. Please continue to practice social distancing and washing hands so that we may all return safely in the fall!
