Canvas is our Learning Management System. Teachers from grades K-12 may implement this resource in their classrooms, but it is not a requirement.
Students can access Canvas by going to www.lcs.instructure.com and using the school email address and password as their login information.
School email is typically a student's first initial, last name followed by 2-digit graduation year and @students.lcs.k12.va.us.
For example, if John Smith is graduating in 2030, his email would be jsmith30@students.lcs.k12.va.us
Passwords for school email is typically four zeroes followed by the student's lunch number.
For example, if John Smith's lunch number is 1234, his email password would be 00001234
Parents have the ability to act as an observer in Canvas. This gives parents access to their child's classes and grades to assignments that may be completed in Canvas.
