Lancaster County Public Schools Volunteer Tutoring Program is currently recruiting volunteers from the community to support students academically and to help encourage their abilities.
The Volunteer Program has been active for ten years and has had many wonderful volunteers be rewarded with the experience of helping children succeed in their educational achievements.
The program serves students from preschool through high school. The tutor works under the instruction of a classroom teacher. The tutor would be scheduled to work with a student for one hour once a week. If you would like to be involved with this valuable program, please contact Brenda Pittman, Volunteer Tutoring Coordinator at bpittman@lcs.k12.va.us or the Lancaster School Board Office at 804-462-5100.
