The Lancaster Elementary School's Junior Beta Club, a beacon of service and leadership, continues to make strides in the community with its commitment to serving others. As part of the National Beta Club, the largest independent, nonprofit educational youth organization in America, these seventh-grade students exemplify the motto, "Let us lead by serving others."
The Junior Beta Club students have embraced their service duties with enthusiasm and dedication. One of their ongoing initiatives is supporting the distribution of Backpack Buddies through the Healthy Harvest Food Bank. This program ensures that students in need have access to nutritious meals over the weekends, providing vital support to families in the community.
In addition to their involvement with the Backpack Buddies program, the Junior Beta Club members have been actively volunteering in monthly themed family fun nights, which provide opportunities for families to come together and enjoy enriching activities. Junior Beta Club members have also been enthusiastic participants in the Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) events. These engagements not only foster a sense of community within the school, but also promote positive behavior and values among students.
The commitment and dedication of the Lancaster Elementary School Junior Beta Club serve as a shining example of the impact that young individuals can have when they unite in service to others.
The Lancaster Elementary School's Junior Beta Club is Co-Sponsored by Robyn Saunders and Makenzie Thomas.
