LPS wants to encourage a strong finish to the 2022-23 school year. Students will be able to earn attendance incentives as an individual and as a class. Of course, students who are sick should stay home until they are not sick. But, we know how important it is to have our students in our classrooms and wanted to offer a challenge and incentives to students.
Individual Student Attendance Incentives:
Level one challenge: Students that miss 3 or less days during the months of March, April, and May will get to throw three water balloons at Mr. Myers or Mr. Walters during Field Day 2023.
River Dog Challenge: Students that miss 0-1 days during the months of March, April, and May will get to throw five water balloons at Mr. Myers or Mr. Walters. Students that attain this level will also be placed in a drawing for various incentives such as fast food coupons (such as McDonalds), Compass gift cards, Pokémon cards, comic books, skateboards, and many more items.
Class Attendance Incentives:
The three classes with the overall best attendance during the period between March and May will receive the following:
Best Class Attendance – Class Pizza Party
Second Best Class Attendance – Class Popcorn Party
Third Best Class Attendance - Class Popcorn Party
Monthly Class Incentive:
One class, each month (March, April, & May), in each grade, will be awarded the attendance champion. The attendance champion each month will receive an ice pop party!
If LPS achieves its school attendance goal Mr. Myers will dress as a River Dog for a day.
